I've been keeping quiet about this one… but the secret is out. 🎹

I finally found the piano sound I've been searching for my whole life β€” and honestly, I couldn't stop composing the moment I started playing it.

My new video is out now, and in it I share three original pieces I wrote specifically to put this library to the test. Cinematic, lo-fi, and a little Erik Satie inspiration thrown in for good measure.

No sponsorship, no affiliation β€” just my honest experience with a library that genuinely moved me.

I'd love to know what you think. Which of the three pieces speaks to you most? Let me know in the comments! 🎡

I only just discovered Man I Need by Olivia Dean, and I had to break it down immediately.

What looks like a simple pop song on the surface is actually full of quiet, clever tricks such as:

  • a first inversion opening chord
  • syncopated rhythms
  • harmonic tension between the chords and melody

All of these elements makes the whole thing feel irresistible without you knowing why.

The best part? Once you hear what's happening under the hood, you'll never listen to it the same way again.

🎬 Watch the full breakdown above and let me know: What did you notice that I missed? And is there a song you'd love me to break down next?

Drop it in the comments! I read every single one. πŸ‘‡

Hello everybody, as a long-time fan of Apparat I was happy to discover a new album has been put out. I will be making an analyses of this song and post it on YouTube

Any future requests are welcome!

I asked Suno AI to generate modal music for me β€” D Dorian, C Phrygian β€” and what it gave me back was... surprising.

Is AI actually a threat to musicians? After a year away, I put it to the test so you don't have to.

Let's get creative :-)
