Chord inversions or slash chords are great to use when composing music. I personally find that inversions have the power to completely transform a chord or chord progression. And the cool thing is that each inversion has it’s own sound. So that means that with every triad/chord you get in total three different sounds. Especially on guitar and piano they are very useful.
